Gerard, I hope those "bloody pigeons" aren't annoying you up there.
You obviously had an impact on all you met. It's a shame I only knew you fairly briefly, but I will miss...
Our Holly and Phil belly laughs
Love and adaption of the English language
Sky Arts watching (remotely)
Love of music l (Kate Bush, Ladysmith Black Mambazo, Tom Waits etc.)
I'm so sorry I didn't have time for you towards the end. I had no idea you were going.
I'll write you a poem, in time. I promise.

Spent a month with you, brylcream, a sense of humour, and those fantastic shirts and denim. Sending love to you and your family. You were a gent and was saddened to hear of your passing but appreciate the short time and the laughs and the difficult times we shared in groups together. ✌️❤️

I've only just heard the sad news and can't believe it. I spent many good times with Gerard between 1987-1994. I will always remember his sense of humour, his love of Kronenbourg 1664 and the double denim. You will be missed by many and wherever you are......keep on rockin' Gerard
